How do I book a private tennis lesson?

Private tennis lessons are booked through this website by clicking the "Book Services" tab above or contact Michael directly on 07523866116 or at cartmelltennis@gmail.com.

Our preference is for you to us the "Book Services" feature on this website as it allows you to select a time and location for the tennis lesson. Please note, your request for a lesson will be considered by Michael Cartmell who will either approve it or request a different time / date for the booking.

How do I book group tennis lessons?

Children’s group sessions are booked through ClassForKids.

Adult group sessions are booked on this website by clicking here.

What should I bring to a tennis lesson?

Please bring a water bottle, suitable clothing, trainers, and if you have one, your tennis racket. We have spares if needed!

Do lessons run in bad weather?

We play in light rain where safe. If a session is cancelled due to extreme weather, we’ll notify you by WhatsApp and reschedule.

How do I know if a group lesson is going ahead?

We have designated WhatsApp groups for each of the group tennis lessons and we communicate with each player / parent through there.

Can I book multiple children into the same class?

Yes, you can book siblings together if they are within the age range. Just let us know if you'd like them in the same group.

Do you offer sibling discounts or block booking deals?

Accepted Answer

Yes – we offer discounts for siblings and when booking a full block of sessions. Get in touch using the "Contact Us" tab above to find out more.

Question 8

What happens if I miss a group session?

Accepted Answer

If you have paid for a 6 week block, you can roll that missed lesson on to the next week.
